And for a moment, time slows down
In yoga, we are taught that everything moves in cycles. Breath flows in and out. Energy rises and falls. Nature rests, then returns again. The end of the year is part of this same rhythm, a natural pause between what has been and what is still unfolding. I have always found the idea of a new year a little overwhelming.
